Open visitation. SICU visitation may be limited depending on the patient’s condition.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- Please do not allow a sick child to visit.
- Children should not play on the floor. Even though our floors are mopped daily, hospital floors are not ever considered germ free.
- Children should not stay overnight in the MICU.
- Please keep noise level to a minimum.
Special circumstances may necessitate changes in these visiting times. Please talk with the nurse to see if we can work out arrangements to meet your needs. Our patients need to get as much rest as possible, so we have no visiting times during the night. Always stop at the nurse’s desk and check with the staff before entering a patient’s room. Our top priority is taking the best care of our patients. There may be times when visiting may be restricted, postponed or canceled. If this becomes necessary, we will keep you informed of the reasons and when you may next visit.
There is ample parking in front of Community Heart and Vascular Hospital, as well as in the visitor parking lots on all Community Health Network campuses.
We offer free valet parking from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Our valets do not accept tips. However, if you insist on giving us a monetary tip, it will be donated to the American Heart Association.

Community Heart and Vascular Hospital’s Chaplaincy Services department is committed to providing support services to patients, families and hospital staff, with respect to their own needs and traditions.
Professionally trained and board certified chaplains are available on an individual basis to assist with pastoral/spiritual care and counseling needs. They also strive to connect individuals who desire pastoral care and other spiritual or religious interventions with their own faith leaders, rites and traditions.
An in-house chaplain is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Chaplains are on-call for emergencies at all other times, including on holidays. To contact Chaplaincy Services, call the hospital operator at 317-621-8000 and ask for a chaplain.
