Schedule a screening
Choose from a heart scan/cardioscore, lung cancer CT scan, student/athlete echocardiogram and a variety of vascular screenings.
Cardioscore/heart scan (CT)
A heart scan, or cardioscore, provides pictures of your heart’s arteries (coronary arteries). Doctors use the scan to look for calcium deposits in the coronary arteries that can increase your heart attack risk. The result of this test is often called a coronary calcium score. People who are most likely to benefit from having a heart scan are adults over 40 years of age who smoke, have high blood pressure, are diabetic, are obese, have high or borderline cholesterol, and/or have a family history of heart disease. Low-dose CT scan lung screening
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States. It is firmly established that smoking cigarettes causes the vast majority of lung cancers. Other important risk factors are long-time exposure to second hand smoke and asbestos fibers. Like most cancers, lung cancer tends to occur later in life; it rarely occurs in people under the age of 45-50. The low-dose CT lung screening uses a reduced amount of radiation to demonstrate the lung tissue in high diagnostic quality detail. Learn more >>
Student / young adult / athlete echocardiogram
The echocardiogram screening is a simple, non-invasive cardiovascular test that uses sound waves to produce images of the heart. Eligible students must be at least 11 years of age. Students under 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the consent for testing. Learn more >>

- ABI screening—A quick, painless and accurate test that will provide early detection of symptoms of peripheral arterial disease (PAD). It compares the blood pressure in your ankle with the blood pressure in your arm (AB Index). Good screening candidates are those over age 45 with other risk factors for vascular disease, including diabetes, smoking, hypertension, abnormal cholesterol profiles, and/or family history. $25.00
- Carotid arteries screening—Provides images to screen for blood flow of the carotid arteries on both sides of your neck. $37.00
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm screening—Looks for weakened and bulging areas in the lower part of the aorta, the major blood vessel that supplies blood to the body. $37.00
